Did you know death note? if you didn’t know about death note, I will tell you about this amazing anime. death note first began as a manga series (japanese comic) originally written by Tsugumi Ooba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata. And did you know? Apparently, Takeshi Obata is a teacher of Nobuhiro Watsuki (Samurai X author). So, you definitely can imagine his artwork, can’t you? The story tell us about Light Yagami a senior high school student. He is smart student but he is bored with humans behavior. He dislike the crime and corruption in the world. Someday, he found the black note, named Death Note. Death Note’s rules claim that if a human whose name is written in this note shall die. But, Death Note will not take effect unless the writer has the person’s face in their mind when writing his/her name. Therefore, people sharing the same name will not be affected. Light is initially skeptical of the Death Note's authenticity, believing it is just a prank. However, after experimenting with it and killing two criminals, Light is forced to admit that the Death Note is real. After he met with the previous owner of the death note, a Shinigami (death of god), known Ryuk. Light said that he will annihilate all of criminals in the world, and he will become a god of a new world. In principle, Light’s purpose is good, annihilate all of criminals. But, in my opinion becoming a god is conflict with his destiny. And did you know what Ryuk said after Light said that? He said that “interesting. And you are the only one who will be a cruel human.” I’m very veRY VERY AGREE with Ryuk. In the same time, world uproar because mysterious death of tens criminals. Finally ICPO (International Crime Police Organization) delegate someone to investigate this case, known L. L is the world's three top-rated detectives (through two additional aliases). I like this character because His disheveled appearance masks his great powers of deduction and insight. L has many quirks, such as sitting in an odd manner (he squats on the edge of his seat, with his knees up by his chin), snacking on sweets in the middle of meetings, and holding his cellphone and other objects in a peculiar manner. Light change his name with “Kira” (derived from the Japanese pronunciation of the English word "Killer"), in walk on his mission. Because L’s intelligence, he knew that kira is a senior high school student and kira is in japan. L also concludes that Kira can kill people without laying a finger on them. Light realizes that L will be his greatest nemesis. Several months later, Light graduated from his senior high school and he would continue his study to the college. When Light did the exam for college, he was surprise that L also did the exam. In the freshman acceptance ceremony, Light and Ryuuga or L got appreciation because both of them has a highest score. And L said to Light that “watashi wa eru desu”( I’m L). Light very surprised and repeatedly ask why L said that he is L. apparently, L want to know how Light responds. But, Light ignore it. They keep in touch and finally L invited Light for join in his investigation. Light accept without doubt. He didn’t know if from the began L suspect Light very well. I can’t tell you much of this story. Because the comic will be released in Indonesia on October. You can read by yourself….and you can find the truth that L will die by Light with a bastard plan…!!! Whereas L consider that Light is his friend. As long as he still alive, L can’t trust everyone in the world except Watari. Hiks…hiks…I couldn’t eat till three days after I watched that my beloved character was die. But, no problem because beside L, still two top-rated detectives who can catch Light. They are Mello ( M ) and Near ( N ). So, you must watch or read Death Note because you’ll never regert…!!!
